Junior Section

The junior section at Hillingdon Golf Club is not plentiful in number but makes up for it in spirit! We have long had a tradition of producing very talented young golfers who are widely recognised as being excellent ambassadors of the club.

Many members may not be aware of their participation in many of golf’s top junior tournaments with varying degrees of success. We have 3 boys in the present Middlesex squads with further 4 training with county at their age groups.

We play league matches against other Middlesex golf clubs and hope they enjoy our hospitable and friendly atmosphere as we do theirs. We try to give all the boys a chance no matter what handicap they are and feel this method helps all the players to feel a part of the section.

We meet up every Sunday afternoon at 1.30pm (matches permitting) so beware of 300 yard drives if you fancy going for a quiet Sunday stroll.

We must thank Phil Smith, the General Manager and Professional, for his encouragement of these young players and coaching them in the right direction.
