May 2010 update

We hoped to have the 2nd tee in play for the Medal on 1st and 2nd May.
Unfortunately, due to the heavy rain this was not possible. However it will be playable in very early May so thank you once again to everyone involved in getting it completed.

The course is really starting to take shape but just a little reminder for members to try and repair any pitch marks they see on the greens (an information sheet is included on Page 4 of the May Newsletter). As well as protecting the greens as they stand it will also assist in making them even better.

Both Winter Rules and the Plugged Ball Local Rule will be withdrawn on Saturday 1st May. Remember not to clean your ball when it is on the fairway and play it as it lies.

If you have entered any knockout competitions please check the Competition notice board as the draws have been made.
