Wednesday Afternoon Golf Society (W.A.G.S.)

The WAGS is a casual roll up which is held every Wednesday throughout the year. Any Full or Five Day member can turn up and put their name in the draw which is made in the clubroom at 11.45 a.m. in the winter [tee off at 12 noon] and 12.15 p.m. once the clocks go forward [tee off at 12.30 p.m.]. There is a £2.00 sweep that is paid out in full to the winners on the day, usually to three places.

The competition is stableford played in three or four balls from yellow tees to the greens of the day regardless of course or weather conditions so you can just turn up and join in.
